2 mile asteroid passed few hours ago savely very near to earth

We got lucky this time that gigantic asteroid has passed by our planet...next time, there will be no luck. But the question is how the heck does something that big gets so little media attention?

Asteroid (285263) 1998 QE2 passed by earth on yesterday May 31st 2013 at 14-15 Lunar distances. It was a massive 2.7 Kilometres wide (1.7 Miles). It was classed as a potentially hazardous asteroid as its closest approach distance was less than 5% of the distance from the Earth to the Sun, i.e. less than 0.05 AU (Astronomical units.

If you ask me honestly,,, it was better that it hit in the center of pak..... life and death is in the hands of God but this could be a big comfort for the nation....

I like your humour but JPL NASA system will never show the actual truth of fly by asteroids & meteorites. It is dumb to think that NASA would actually warn humanity. They can’t do anything about it. So better keep quite and don’t spread panic. If we are getting extinct then let us embrace it with dignity.

What does that mean?

Do you think NASA will tell you truth of fly by asteroids & meteorites .. might as well be like dumb and dumber to think NASA would actually warn humanity. all youtube videos back to work and re-do the videos because we only have limited information.
