1.2 Billion in one day - dam funds

There are two phases for this dam:

1. Water reservoir
2. Power house

It can be built in stages. Reservoir will cost less. Do not have exact figures at the moment but around 30% of the whole cost.

The government can start building reservoir as soon as sufficient funds for first year are available and إن شاء الله they will.

Even if any of these two corrupt government would have ever thought seriously in last 10 years, they were to spare only 40 billion rupees each year.

However Butt League chose to spent massive Rs. 300 billion just on Orange train and took IMF loan of around Rs. 16,000 -18,000 billion rupees in 5 years and no one know where all this money has gone?

Just for info or if you know about any link giving this info.:
Do you have any split of expenditures a)land, b)civil works and c) machinery/installation. Further do you know what are partial costs for design and labor in this project.
Do you know about any link showing CPM chart to assess the schedule/need of funds for this project.
Do I look like a construction or dam expert?
I am simply a pappu and a chikna..lol
however, I read news reports and the budget figure was in billions of USD.

No. I didn't expect that. I just tried to broaden the discussion if we really were to get an idea about the needs for the funds. I was just wondering where we to build pillars (as told by you), instead of restraining walls or tunnels etc in this project!!
Anyway, I tried to search for the feasibility on the net but I couldn't finds except for some good maps and drawings to get an idea of the project.
I think, to build a reservoir/dam/diversions would not be (comparatively) quite expensive (but not so cheap as its main wall is a concrete filled gravity dam and not entirely an earthen). Comparatively the cost to build tunnels and spillways, generators would be much greater.
