Unfortunately very shallow analysis.

The presenters/hosts presented the case of shortfall and/or loadshedding of gas supply to household consumers during the upcoming winters. The analyser responded only by qouting the numbers for the LNG import.

Either analyser doesn't know the fact or failed to mention that the imported LNG has nothing to do with the supply of gas to houshold consumers. The improted LNG is only supplied to Commercial consumer in Pakistan i.e. Power Companies (GENCOS), Textile, Cement and all the other commercial sector.

For housholds usage only the locally produced gas is supplied because the houshold customer cannot pay the price of imported LNG. And because the locally produced gas reserves are shrinking, hence, the shortfall and eventual loadshedding.

When asked about the solution, The expert says that we are importing less LNG.

Again, complete lack of knowledge about the current international market situation where it is not possible to acquire more LNG cargos than what we acquired for winter. Please do some research before analysis.

Janab....Households use LPG .... only 13% of Pakistani domestic Consumers are using pipeline supplied gas. Rest are using LPG Cylinder..

However, we only import LNG and then we covert them into LPG.

Thanks
