اور آزمائشی ویکسین وائرس کے تبدیل ہونے سے زیادہ تیزی س ناکام ہو رہی ہیں۔
مطلب اگر کوئی ویکسین تیار ہوجائے تو بھی یہ کام نہیں کرے گا۔
there has been far too many mutations (structural changes in the viral genetics) over past 4 months since wuhan infection started.
what this means is making a vaccine against one virus strain would be ineffective if the virus changes itself.
unfortunately immunity hasnt been observed to be great after recovering from the COVID 19 AND people are still prone to develop reinfection.
so the only way forwards seems to be relying solely on HERD immunity. let people get exposed to infection, hope it doesnt cause too much harm and let them develop their own immunity if there is any at all.

yeah mutation is the biggest concern with coronavirus. Vaccine will be a huge challenge..


but our media creates hype everyday - this country is making vaccine, we will get vaccine in septemebr etc etc...

Yesterday i read another analysis on BBC where scientists said this virus doesn't mutate much as compared to other viruses such as HIV & Malaria. Still early days to say something for sure as lots of research is under way to solve the puzzle.

dont doubt for a sec that it will be over insha Allah, my worry is more for the poor people and poor countries like ours, how much can they cope with out earning during lockdown?
people specially "elites"making irrational demands for a strict lockdown whilst thats not the answer
