i can give you insight in to indian politics today.
most of the hindus have tilted towards right wing ideals , after congress lost grip on minority and scheduled caste dalit votes , bjp grabbed the opportunity and captured middle class hindu votes . this gave bjp margin above other parties .nowadays even lower and dalits castes are voting in favour of bjp because of opium of religion fed to them .
