پاکستانی نژاد لارڈ نذیر احمد پر بچوں سے جنسی زیادتی کا الزام درست ثابت ہو گیا۔ برطانوی علاقے شیفلڈ کی عدالت نے لارڈ نذیر کو مجرم قرار دے دیا۔

بین الاقوامی خبررساں ادارے دی سٹار کی رپورٹ کے مطابق برطانوی ریاست شیفلڈ کی مقامی عدالت نے نذیر احمد کو بچوں کے جنسی استحصال کا مجرم قرار دیدیا ہے، تاہم عدالت نے نذیر احمد کو اس کیس میں دی جانے والی سزا سے متعلق ابھی کوئی فیصلہ نہیں سنایا ہے۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق 64 سالہ نذیر احمد پر ایک برطانوی خاتون نے الزام عائد کیا تھا کہ 1970 میں نذیر احمد نے ان کے ساتھ جنسی زیادتی کرنے کی کوشش کی، تب نذیر احمد کی اپنی عمر 16 سے 17 برس تھی جبکہ متاثرہ خاتون کے مطابق وہ اس وقت نذیر احمد سے بھی عمر میں چھوٹی تھیں۔

اس کے علاوہ نذیر احمد پر 1970 میں ہی 11 سال سے کم عمر بچے کا جنسی استحصال کرنے کا بھی الزام لگایا گیا تھا، اس حوالے سے جسٹس لیوینڈر کی عدالت نے نذیر احمد پرلگائے گئے الزامات کو درست مانتے ہوئے انہیں مجرم قرار دیا ساتھ ہی انہوں نے برطانوی وقت کے مطابق آج 3 بجے یہ فیصلہ سنانے کا اعلان بھی کیا کہ نذیر احمد کو اس کیس میں کب سزا سنائی جائے گی۔

انگلینڈ میں مقیم صحافی اظہر جاوید کے مطابق برطانوی پارلیمنٹ کے سابق رکن لارڈ نذیر احمد کو انگلش عدالت کی جیوری نے آٹھ مختلف الزامات میں قصور وار قرار دے دیا۔ ان کے خلاف چالیس سال قبل اپنے رشتہ دار بچوں سے جنسی فعل کے الزامات تھے۔ لارڈ نزیر نے عدالت کے فیصلے کے خلاف اپیل کرنے کا اعلان کردیا ہے۔ لارڈ نذیر کو سزا بعد میں سنائی جائیگی۔

دوسری جانب نذیر احمد نے ان الزامات کو یکسر مسترد کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ عدالتی فیصلہ شواہد کے خلاف ہے ، جس سے مایوسی ہوئی ہے،عدالتی فیصلے پر اپیل کیلئے اپنے وکلاء کو ہدایات جاری کردی ہیں۔،

واضح رہے کہ نذیر احمد کو 1998 میں اس وقت کے برطانوی وزیراعظم ٹونی بلیئر نے برطانوی دارالامراء کا رکن اور لارڈ مقرر کرنے کی سفارش کی تھی جس کے بعد سے 2020 تک وہ روتھرہام کے لارڈ تھے تاہم جنسی زیادتی کے الزامات لگنے کے بعد ہاؤس سے نکالے جانے سے قبل ہی نذیر احمد نے خود ہی ریٹائر ہونے کا اعلان کردیا تھا۔

The age is mentioned in the verdict of Sheffield Crown Court which made the decision.

In, Law duration of time can not lessen the punishment. . If a 17 years old had molested 10 years old 80 years ago, and that truth had come to light today when the accused is 97 years old also a pope at a Vatican City, still that accused will be punished in the court of law. There are many cases where catholic priests who are very senior today were accused when they were young in 1960s and 1970 by the students and were still punished today.
