If everything is shut in pakistan then where these 25% so called daily wager be going to work anyway.instead of taking some extra ordinary action from bonga khan for these people he just have no idea what to do.

For the 25%, if you are putting the whole country and other 75% at risk then this is not a good strategy. Lockdown to stop the spread is a must.

We do not have Italy like situation but in Italy it also did not start overnight. Despite having the best health care system, they are struggling and Pakistanis does not even have half of it.

Govt and those 75% must come forward to support the 25% as this is the fight for the survival of everyone Not just poor

Can't agree more..I think people should start giving Zakat before ramadan as poor people need it more than ever.

Intikhab bhai..looks like you have lack of vision for the real issues. can you imagine whats gonna happen in complete lockdown? it's not just a fancy term. Its very easy for people who have money and means to stay at home without worrying about money or their future. PM is trying to stop the chaos that can and will spread in complete lockdown. Btw, if you put yourself in his shoes, what steps would you take?

Mr patriot....it’s not the matter of creating panic or chaos ,it’s a matter of necessity...extra ordinary situations needs extra ordinary measures....and as we know precautions are always better then cure..no body is talking about curfew like lockdown but people have to do for social distances otherwise all these 25% will effect the other 75% and then we would not be able to stop big chaos and panic...leader should not be hesitant inn talking decisions it’s confusion that create panic.

I would say for the time being forget about the future and solely focus on the present right now. If you cant fix what is happening at the present right now then there will be no future.

It is not about someone having money or someone having not. If God forbid it goes to the situation like Italy then it will become very difficult for a country like Pakistan to get out of it. Govt and people with resources must come forward and look after the people who might suffer with the lockdown and that is, at the moment only viable solution to stop the spread and get out of it

Intikhab bhai...what is the definition of lockdown for your? in the end, social distancing is the only solution to tackle this situation and for which a huge responsibility lies on our shoulders..

And as a nation, can't we do it without the govt impose a lockdown?

Unfortunately not, there is a pitcure posted above in this thread and you can see the level of maturety in our Pakistani nation. This is most of the Pakistan and it is not only Pakistan.

Most of the first world countries whom people say are educated and civilized would do the same. That is why UK has closed the pubs and bars in an effort to stop the spread

I am surprised that being part of 25%, you still think that closing down everything is the solution? and lockdown for how long??? days..months??? why can't we assume responsibility and take precautionary measures???

You are just talking in circle brother...mandatory social distancing(social lockdown) for 3 weeks and after that we will cross the bridge when we get there.

Beyond politics,, announcing a lock down and actually implementing it on the ground and providing to the households -- are two very different matters. Is it even possible to implement it and to administrate it?

Why everyone in this country tries to become Einstein in every field ? Everyone gives their opinion on every matter like they know what they are talking about. Our PM has so many experts at his disposal, he doesn’t take decision like this on his own, it’s definitely coming from a lot of discussion from experts.
Please stop giving your amazing opinions in technical matters. Save it for your children.
