I did not watch the video, but just from the title of the post, I may ask the followers of ritualistic Hajj, please tell me if my post makes sense or not?
What is Hajj? The literal meaning of Hajj is to debate or argue. All the verses related to Hajj in the Quran address mankind as a whole, not just Muslims or believers. This suggests that the Hajj is meant for everyone. Nowhere in the Quran does Allah command people to circumambulate the Kaaba, to kiss the Black Stone (which is not mentioned in the Quran), or to run between the two hills, Safa and Marwah, seven times. The rituals also include traveling from Mina to Arafat, then to Muzdalifah, collecting pebbles to cast at the three pillars in Mina known as Jamarat(Shaytaan), and wearing the Ihram garment while exposing one shoulder. Why shave your head? Or perform Qurbani?
Can someone explain how individuals or humanity benefit from performing all these rituals?

The phrase "Qālū salāman salāmā" (قَالُوا سَلَامًا سَلَامً
"They said: Peace!" or
"They say: Peace, peace!"

📖 Quranic Context:

Surah Al-Furqan (25:63):

"Wa-‘ibādur-Raḥmāni-lladhīna yamshūna ʿala-l-arḍi hawnan wa-idhā khāṭabahumu-l-jāhilūna qālū salāmā"
"And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth humbly, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace."

✨ Meaning in Essence:
It shows the character of true believers: peaceful, patient, and dignified, even when provoked.

We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the first one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf around it.

Sahih al-Bukhari 4376, 4377
Book 64, Hadith 401

Stone or idol worship is found in just about all the religions, may it be Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, etc.
That is why I always emphasize that Islam is not a religion but a way of life. But our Mullahs have turned it into a ritualistic & stone-worshipping religion.

Well man being man, had to, how can he show off to others that his stuff is better than theirs when it looks much simpler and easier. How will he say look our rituals are tougher than yours, our "laws" are stricter than yours, our pilgrimages are more complicated and difficult than yours, our dietary restrictions are tougher than yours, look I have to follow all these tough and difficult things to follow my religion so obviously mine is superior.

For a contemporary example just look at all this qurabani situation. Everyone is trying to beat his relatives, colleagues, society members by getting a more bigger and more expensive animal for sacrifice than the others. Animals costing as much as luxury cars very soon they will cost as much as a small house.

Even if you believe in all this, where does it say in their own books or to their own understanding that they have to the greatest of the greats animal???

Ancient "scholars" might have ruined the deen but todays Muslims are also not holding it back either.
