One of the Sufism's main problem is Ghulu (gross exaggeration) in Deen both in Wordly and metaphysical spheres. All sufi literature is full of inauthentic material, legends and fables.
Some correction in Engineer sahib's facts. It was not Atlantic ocean rather it was Mediterranean sea and its water are never below freezing points. Nonetheless the point he made is very valid.
