پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے چیئرمین عمران خان نے سابق وزیراعلی چوہدری پرویز الہیٰ کو پارٹی صدر بنانے کی وجہ بتاتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پرویز الہیٰ و مونس الہیٰ نے دھمکیوں کے باوجود ہمارا ساتھ دیا ہے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق عمران خان نے ویڈیو لنک کے ذریعے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ میں نے پرویز الہیٰ کو پارٹی کا صدر اس لیے بنایا کہ انہوں نے بہت دباؤ برداشت کیا ہے، میں پرویز الہیٰ اور ان کےبیٹے مونس الہیٰ کو داد دیتا ہوں۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ان لوگوں نے مونس الہیٰ کے ساتھی کو اٹھایا اور اسے تین دن کیلئے غائب رکھا، ہم نے پرویز الہیٰ کو آنر کیا ہے کیونکہ انہوں نے دباؤ کے باوجود اپنی پارٹی کو ہماری جماعت میں ضم کیا۔

عمران خان نے مزید کہا کہ ہم نے نگراں حکومت کیلئے وہ نام دیئے جو قابل بھروسہ تھے، ہم نے 22 نام الیکشن کمیشن کو دیئے کہ انہیں پنجاب میں نا لگایا جائے، انہوں نے تقریبا انہی22 افراد کو پنجاب لگایا جنہوں نے ہم پر ظلم کیا، اعتماد کےووٹ کے ٹائم ہمارے لوگوں سے کہا گیا کہ عمران خان پر کاٹا لگادیا ہے آپ ن لیگ میں چلے جائیں۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ خود کو نیوٹرل کہنے والوں نے کہا کہ آپ ن لیگ کی سی ایم شپ لے لیں، انہوں نے الیکشن کمیشن پر پورا دباؤ ڈالا ہوا ہے کہ 90 روز میں انتخابات نا ہوں۔

I disagree Dr. Sahab. Chaudhrys are nothing but the old guards of status quo and the benificery of corrupt system. I disagree Dr. Sahab. Chaudhrys are nothing but the old guards of status quo and the benificery of corrupt system. Their support for PTI wasn't a principled position but an effort to protect their politics. Imran khan was right when he called them "Daku". 1. SMQ's position as the vice chairman of the party after Imran Khan is an established position under the constitution of PTI and is registered with the EC under political party's registration act. Clear??
2. There is no approved position of a President in the party which is registered with the EC. Therefore, it is a ceremonial title given to anyone to give happy good feeling and kinda little importance to keep his ego elevated but without any akhtiaraat. If you remember same sort of ceremonial Presidentship was assigned to Javed Hashmi as well. Clear??
3. Allah has kept the door of repentance open to all the humans until the day you call in to say goodbye to the mortal world. Now we cannot see what is inside Ch Pervez Illahi's heart, but when he has said on a countless occasion that he will remain loyal with Imran for the rest of his life, then brother! let's give him a chance and a benefit of doubt to prove his claim. Now with his own party gone he will have no other choice other than to play a positive role in PTI which ultimately will immensely help his 3 sons and Wajahat and his sons politics in PTI.
Let bygones be bygones.

My only problem here is why should PTI or any party need to parley with boots. The proper cure is to keep boots in their aquaat in the first place.

Bro! as of now boots have firmest grip on everything in the country so everybody is helpless and are subservient to them..
O' hor gal aye kay... people bring Imran to power not with 2 third but with 3 fourth majority and then the parliament revamps the system in totality and changes the current status of Pakistan from a security state to a welfare state and enact stringent possible laws with severe punishments.

1& 2- These ceremonial and vaguely defined power positions would be undoing of anything including a political party. These positions carves out a separate group if it turns into a clash of titans. SMQ will definitely see Chaudhry as a threat sharing similar powers with him under a different title. Loyal and ideological political workers have no chance to reach the upper echelon of the party if the likes of SMQ, JKT, Aleem Khan and now Chaudhry keep parachuting in after few days of sweat show. Like Muslim League (Q) we should be ready for PTI (Q) now. And this will be more damaging than JKT back stabbing.

3- Definitely we don't know what in people's heart, so proceed with caution instead of blind trust. Q should have remained a separate party and an ally at best. Merging it with PTI is no different than previously seeking big wigs which caused PTI dearly. It will further push away the ideological narrative from the power center. Now its just usual politics.

Because he is the one who forced his father to stay loyal with PTI, despite pressure from establishment and PDM.
If Moonis wasn’t there, Parvez would have been CM Punjab right now with PDM and establishment support.
