عمران خان سے ملاقات نا کروانے پر تفتیشی افسر کو توہین عدالت کا نوٹس جاری

راولپنڈی کی انسداد دہشت گردی کی عدالت میں بانی پی ٹی آئی کے وکلاء کو ملاقات کی اجازت نہ دینے کیخلاف دائر درخواست پر سماعت ہوئی۔ اس دوران عدالت نے متعلقہ حکام کے خلاف ایک اہم قدم اٹھاتے ہوئے سی پی او، ایس ایس پی اور نیو ٹاؤن کے تفتیشی افسر کو توہین عدالت کے نوٹس جاری کردیئے ہیں۔

عدالت نے تینوں افسران کو حکم دیا ہے کہ وہ کل تک اپنا جواب جمع کرائیں تاکہ اس معاملے کی مزید تحقیق کی جا سکے۔ یہ صورتحال اس بات کی عکاسی کرتی ہے کہ عدالت انتہائی سنجیدگی سے وکلاء کے حقوق اور قانونی پروسیس کا احترام کرنے کے معاملے کو دیکھ رہی ہے۔

عدالت کا یہ اقدام اس طرح کے معاملات میں وکلاء کی حیثیت و حقوق کی حفاظت کے لیے ایک قدم ہے، اور اس پر قانونی حلقوں میں مختلف آراء سامنے آ رہی ہیں۔ اس کیس کی تفصیلات کا انتظار ہے تاکہ معلوم ہو سکے کہ حکام عدالت کے نوٹس کا کیا جواب دیتے ہیں۔​

One of the most direct ways in which the military has maintained control over the judiciary is through its role in judicial appointments. High-ranking judges are often appointed or recommended through channels where military influence is at play. This is especially evident during periods when the political landscape is closely aligned with military interests. In some cases, judges who are seen as “friendly” to the military have been given key positions, ensuring that decisions favor the military’s broader political objectives.

The judiciary of Pakistan, once seen as the pillar of justice and fairness, is now increasingly viewed as sold out, undermined by political pressures and external influences. The idea of an independent judiciary has been severely compromised as judges are often accused of making decisions not based on the rule of law but rather in alignment with the interests of those in power. Whether it’s the military establishment, political elites, or influential figures, the courts seem to serve as tools in their hands, rather than champions of justice for the common people.

In many high-profile cases, the judiciary has failed to act impartially, leading to accusations of corruption, favoritism, and bias. Rulings are sometimes delayed, manipulated, or outright disregarded to protect powerful individuals and entities. The system has become a puppet rather than a protector, with justice no longer being blind but compromised by the forces that pull its strings.

This "sold out" judiciary has eroded public trust, leaving ordinary citizens to believe that the courts no longer provide a fair chance to those without influence. The judiciary’s failure to stand up against these pressures only deepens the crisis, making it increasingly difficult for Pakistan to aspire to a future where the rule of law is truly upheld.
