رطانوی اخبار نے صدر حسنی مبارک کو دنیا کی امیر ترین شخصیت قرار دے دیا ہے۔ وہ ستر ارب ڈالر کے مالی اثاثوں کے ساتھ سہرفہرست ہیں جبکہ دوسرے نمبر پر میکسکو کے کارلوس سلم اور تیسرے نمبر پر بل گیٹس ہیں ۔
برطانوی اخبار گارڈین کے دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ مصر کے صدر حسنی مبارک دنیا کے امیر ترین شخص ہیں۔ اخبار کے مطابق ان کے اثاثوں کی کل قیمت 70 بلین ڈالر کے قریب ہے۔ حسنی مبارک تیس برس سے مصر کے سیاہ سفید کے مالک ہیں ۔ اخبار کا کہنا ہے کہ ہر حکومتی معاہدے میں ان کا حصہ سب سے پہلے رکھا جاتا تھا۔ اخبار نے مختلف ذرائع کے حوالے سے ان کے غیر ملکی اثاثوں کی تفصیلات کا ذکر بھی کیا ہے۔اخبار کی فہرست کے مطابق میکسیکو کے کارلوس سلم 53٫5ارب ڈالر کے اثاثوں کے ساتھ دوسرے نمبر پر ہیں۔جبکہ بل گیٹس 53 ارب ڈالر کے ساتھ دنیا کے تیسرے امیر ترین شخص ہیں۔
