question is if they ban hijab why the hell u stay in their country or in the first place, why u r living in there?

LONDON — One of Britain’s biggest colleges on Friday dropped a ban on Muslim face veils after thousands of people signed a petition against the rule.
Birmingham Metropolitan College said on Facebook it would change its policy to allow “individuals to wear specific items of personal clothing to reflect their cultural values”.
The college in Birmingham, a city in central England with a large Muslim population, had earlier said it would require “the removal of hoodies, hats, caps and veils so that faces are visible”.
It would in effect have banned the niqab, a face veil worn by some Muslim women which covers everything except the eyes.
The policy won support from Prime Minister David Cameron. A spokesman said he believed educational establishments should be able to “set and enforce their own school uniform policies”.
But some 9,000 people signed a petition coordinated by the National Union of Students (NUS) Black Students’ Campaign against the policy.
“This ban is a complete infringement on the rights to religious freedom and cultural expression and is a clear violation of a woman’s right to choose,” said NUS black students’ officer Aaron Kiely.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said on his weekly LBC radio show that he was “uneasy” about the policy.
Shabana Mahmood, a local lawmaker for the opposition Labor party, said the “change in policy is enormously welcome.”
Rightwing Conservative MP Philip Hollobone has tabled a private members’ bill in parliament that would ban the public wearing of face coverings, emulating a law introduced in France in 2011. — AFP

شاید اس پابندی کا تعلق برقعوں میں بم پھاڑنے سے ہو. ابھی کچھ عرصہ قبل قاضی حسین احمد ایک برقع پوش بمبار کے ہاتھوں مرتے مرتے بچے تھے. افغانستان میں جب سے طالبان نے پگڑیوں میں بم پھاڑنے شروع کیے ہیں، اسوقت سے اب تمام پگڑ پوشوں کی پگڑیوں کی اتروا کر تلاشی لی جاتی ہے . پھر ہمارے مجاہدین نے نائیجیرین سٹوڈنٹ کے ذ ریعے چڈی بم کا نیا طریقہ متعارف کروایا اور مغرب نے جسم دیکھنے والی مشینیں ائرپورٹس پر نصب کر دیں

So Muslims in Europe should not be forced to take off face veil but non-muslims in Saudi Arabia must abide by the purda laws?
If a European woman comes to Pakistan as your guest you will most likely ask her to 'respect' local norms of decency and cover herself appropriately at all times so as not to offended the local people.
So why cant a European ask you to not cover your entire face in public as it is against their norms of public interaction and they feel offended by not being able to see a person they are talking to?
Remember removing a face veil is not the same as removing the whole abaya!

اِس خبر پر نعرہ تکبیر و حیدری کے بعد برطانیہ پر چڑھ دوڑنےکے بجائے بہتر ہے ان مردودوں اور ان کے حمائیتیوں کا محاسبہ کیا جائے جو برقعوں کی آڑ میں خودکُش دھماکے کرتے ہیں، عورتوں کو ریکی اور جاسوسی کے لئے استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ اس پر شُکر ادا کیا جانا چاہیے کہ انڈرویئر میں بارودی مواد صرف ایک دفعہ لے جانے کی کوشش کی گئی، زیادہ بار کی گئی ہوتی تو اُمتِ مسلمہ آج جگہ جگہ اپنے تمام جسم پر گلووز کا چکنا لمس بھی برداشت کرتی نظر آرہی ہوتی۔
اور پھر بھی کسی جماعت کے پیٹ میں اس خبر سے مروڑ اٹھے تو اُسے چاہیے کہ پہلے وہ طالبانی فتنوں کی مذمت کرے اور پھر سوچے کہ "برطانیہ اسلامی ملک نہیں"۔

khana goray ka khana hai, kapray goray jaisay pehannay hain, zindagi ki sahooliyaat goray jaisi chahiyein hain, paisay goray ki tarhan chahiye (USD Pounds Euros), har cheez goray ki chahiye, rehna goray k mulk mein hai, aur jab gora bolay k hijab utaro toh shor machao, wah ray wah double standards of so called muslims!

مسلمان عورت کے لئے تو یہ حکم ہے گھر میں بیٹھی رہو ، ان کو تو باہر نکلنے کی ضرورت ہی نہی ہونی چاہے ، نقاب کی بات تو بعد میں آے گی اگر نکلے گی

there was a guy, who used to run with his wife, race with her, play outside with her, the guy name was Muhammad (SAW) and his wife was Aisha (may Allah please with her)
2nd example, women in Madinah used to pray at the back in Masjid-e-Nabwi behind men.
3rd example, a hadith, Prophet (SAW) said, dont stop women if they want to go to Mosque even at night

Je sirf munh per kapra rakh ker public mein phirnay say roknay per secularism ke poori imarat gir jaati hay hein na?
Why would a deeply observant muslim person want to live in a 'secular' state in the first place? Afghanistan ya Saudi Arab ke taraf hijrat kyun nahi ker letay?

simple saudi arabia and pakistan are muslim countries i repeat specificaly muslim countries so there are islamic laws u have to abide but uk is a secular country so there should not be any religious specific bans

where does islam tells you to hide even your face features. MY family does not observe hijab . does that mean they are english people.
how many women in pakistan observe it from pesh to karachi not 100 % . when a women here in uk wears a long overcoat its much better then most of the pakistani shlwar qameez which shows all parts of the body in pakistan. here every woman use overcoat plus doppta.
here in uk so many incidents happen where women from hungry ,romania , were this burqa and steal things from shop. they are in security cameras but can be caught because u cant be identified
so much religious freedom in here in uk . BUT now hijabi women is becoming security threat . TWo men deliberately wore buraqas and committed crime when arrested they said they did it on purpose just want to tell he police that they did not run on purpose but if they did how would they know who are they because the cameras kud not show their faces

This is not a 'religious specific ban'.
This is a way of regulating interaction of people in society. They base their laws on what the seem fit for their society and how they want others to integrate in their society.
Also if you think this is such a big breach of 'religious freedom' why not move back to your country of origin?
