برطانوی فضائی کمپنی برٹش ایئرویز کا پاکستان کیلئے آپریشن معطل کرنے کا فیصلہ

برطانوی فضائی کمپنی برٹش ایئرویز نے فیصلہ کیا ہے کہ وہ پاکستان کیلئے جاری آپریشن 2 ہفتوں کیلئے معطل رکھے گی، اس فیصلے کا اطلاق 15 جون سے لیکر 30 جون تک ہو گا۔ برٹش ایئر ویز کے اسٹیشن منیجر نے منیجر اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ کو باقاعدہ آگاہ کر دیا۔

برٹش ایئرویز کے عہدیداروں کے مطابق کمپنی کا فضائی آپریشن 15 جون تک جاری رہے گا، جس کی وجہ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ یہ روٹ کمرشل وجوہات کی بنیاد پر معطل کیا جا رہا ہے اور اس کے لیے تمام مسافروں کو بھی جس حد تک آگاہ کیا جا سکتا تھا کر دیا گیا ہے۔

انتظامیہ نے بتایا کہ ایسے کسٹمرز سے رابطے میں ہیں اور معذرت خواہ ہیں، کسٹمرز کو مکمل سہولیات، متبادل بکنگ یا ری فنڈ کی آپشز دی ہیں۔ برٹش ائیرویز کی پروازیں 15 جون سے صرف دو ہفتے کے لیے معطل کی جا رہی ہیں جبکہ مزید شیڈول یا تبدیلی کے بارے میں دوبارہ آگاہ کیا جائے گا۔

کمپنی کی جانب سے جاری ہدایات میں کہا گیا ہے کہ سفر سے پہلے برٹش ایئرویز ویب سائٹ سے شیڈول دیکھا جائے۔ تاہم ترجمان نے یہ واضح کیا ہے کہ پروازوں کی معطلی صرف برٹش ایئرویز کی آپریشنل و کمرشل وجوہات کی بنا پر ہے۔

ترجمان برٹش ایئرویز کے مطابق اسلام آباد انٹرنیشنل ایئرپورٹ پر ایندھن کی عدم دستیابی کے باعث اس فضائی کمپنی کی پروازیں معطل کرنے سے متعلق سوشل میڈیا میں گردش کرنے والی خبریں بے بنیاد ہیں۔

جب کہ دوسری جانب پی سی اے اے نے اسلام آباد ایئرپورٹ پر ایوی ایشن فیول فراہم کرنے والے سے بھی رپورٹ لی ہے جس نے تصدیق کی ہے کہ ایندھن کی کوئی کمی نہیں ہے اور فیول اسٹوریج ٹینک فل ہیں۔

To be fair, UK airlines are facing big problems in UK due to cutting too many staff during covid times, and then overselling flights and holidays...this could be the operational reasons BA mention. But seems like they are prioritising flights where they can earn more over flights from Pakistan.

Virgin is a better option anyway then BA.
