We Are “Politically Correct” But Morally Bankrupt

We condemn a slap on TV by a politician to a politician. But we remain silent on minorities getting butchered. We are in favour of Blasphemy laws but we make fun of other religions openly. We hate corruption but we give grease money to get things done. We hate leaders with protocols but if we need to go to the NADRA office we make calls to find out who knows the DG there. We say that we love the poor but if a drug addict asks for food, food not money, we immediately brush him aside on a traffic light. We want all religions to participate in our Eid, but if one goes to even a non religious Hindu ceremony like HOLI, a spring festival, we pass Fatwas of idol worshipping on him.

We are so politically correct to keep up our image but so morally incorrect when it comes to doing the right thing because the right thing may backlash in our faces and we may be questioned publicly or even alienated by the society.

Nobody bothers about being morally right at the cost of being politically incorrect.

We want our leaders to be honest but our votes to be biased. We want our children to be patriotic but we slander Pakistan in their presence. We want our daughter in laws to be “Obedient” but our daughters to control their husbands. We want our bosses to be kind but our employees to be slaves. We say that we feel the pain of poor people travelling in broken buses but we would never give a ride in our SUVs to a random old man. We want our universities to charge the least amount of money for education but our children to get the highest salaries after graduation.

We are losing morality but we are becoming experts at being politically correct. Change will not come from leaders, it never has. Change comes from the masses. The leaders are just the face of the masses nothing more. The next time you use the social media condemning something or praising something out of shear convenience and as a knee jerk reaction, think twice. Remember one thing, all political changes come based on moral revolutions. We are looking for political revolution since 70 years. We are trying to put a saddle on donkey for a horse race.

Politics is never moral. And morality does not have an ounce of politics in it. So decide which side you want to be on. You will not be questioned on the day of judgement about being political correct, you will be answerable for your moral wealth or lack thereof.

Piece of crap....We dont remain silent when/if minorities are abused. We are NOT in favour of Blashphemy Laws. We Never make fun of other religion. Never give money to get things done. NEVER make calls to get things done. Drug addicts are cockroaches it is not our job to treat or rehabilitate them and certainly not our job to feed them. We celebrate holi and christmas and Hollloween and valentines day and any religious or cultural holiday that comes along. Speak for yourself not for "US."
