On removal of Pia CEO and rejection of his appeal by supreme court :
Judes are doing leg pulling of good effort of Pia chief. He Purchased new Planes and improved the service to serve the increasing number of passengers.
He started action against fake degree holders in PIA. The mafias will never let this country progress, and we may continue to fall prey of these mafias.
The lawsuit was brought by union leaders because Under his watch PIA was improving because he didn’t tolerate slackness, fake degree holders.If he is delivering, keeping the unions at bay and putting PIA back on track as many claim, then please let him complete this noble mission
At least he improved service and brought the dead planes back to life so why stop this CEO? So called competant and qualified politically motivated previous CEOs, staff have brought PIA to this ruins...And yet they wouldnt allow others clean their mess.
The qualification of the PIA CEO is that he is able to turn PIA around when those previously appointed "qualified" people were miserably failed in their attempts.
Corrupt Mushahidullahs and Khakan Abbasi's mismanaged and destroyed the airline.They overfilled PIA with fake degree holders , unprofessional.
politically recruited people.They and politicans had made PIA a highly politicized institution, there have been vested interests & agenda. PIA had become a joke for all travelers. Incompetent staff, old plane, non professional hostesses, unskilled technical staff with fake degrees.
The appointment of Arshad Malik as CEO of PIA was not politically motivated. The steps he took were in right direction which had started bringing positive changes. His performance is good. PIA revenue has increased. New planes are added. He was controlling corruption, which is the main reason for PIA failure.
When a person tries to good, he is stopped this is the laanat of this country. In the past SC decisions in commercial matters has resulted in huge loss to the country. At this stage, PIA needs an honest administrator, which this Air Marshal is. He may lack experience in commercial airline management but that can be ignored at this time. The judge must know the biggest hurdle in PIA's progress was the labour unions who brought PIA operations to halt and allowed corruption in the workforce. Air Marshal fixed that on day one.
Before him PIA incurred huge losses.Now PIA's own staff who are responsible for looting public fund would again return and it would loot public tax money again.
To find an honest and competent man is very difficult in Pakistan.
