Inflation cannot be cured until we start producing products for our use. When we import everything, we have to spend dollars. Dollars do not grow on trees. they have to be earned. & the world is not really interested in buying what we have to sell. We are not exactly making iphones, F-16s & stuff. Plus we import oil. Oil is also bought with dollars. PMLN made all power plants that will run on fossil fuel. Thus increasing our dependence on imported oil. So if oil prices go up in the world, we have to spend more. Petroleum products go up, transportation costs of everyday items go up, electricity prices increase & thus cost of manufacturing increases.
