Finally Asad Umar starting to do something. I have a suggestion and if there is someone on this forum can covey this to Asad Umar, please do so!
Introduce 20% Inheritance Tax in Pakistan.
When people die they leave billions of assets behind, mostly for the kids to fight over and distribute. Government should collect collect 20% before issuing the death/succession certificates. After all Pakistan is the mother who helped that person become successful and accumulate such wealth in his life. Several states in USA currently have this tax.
Pakistan must tap in to this so we have money to run social welfare programs for Pakistanis.

2nd Suggestion: Introduce 30% Inventory Tax on all businesses in Pakistan
At the end of every year, every business should be asked to calculate their remaining inventory and pay 30% tax to federal government if they want to keep it. It will result in two things: First it will improve tax collection. Secondly, it will discourage ZAKEERA-ANDOZI.
Thirdly, businesses will be forced to sale goods at discounted rates and consumers will get the benefit and total spending will increase also.
US has this system in place and that is the reason most businesses in US put everything on sale because they don't want to keep inventory and pay taxes. As a result you see mass discount which encourage consumers to come out and spend more. Which generate more activity and help improve the economy. Sales tax collection goes up automatically.

3rd Suggestion: Force all local manufacturers and importers to stop selling goods to non-filer businesses.
All business people will have no other choice but to become filer as their suppliers will stop giving them products. It will hurt at first but then everyone will file taxes and start hiring accountants to keep track of their records.

why it is wrong when Pakistan raised you all your life like a mother and gave you opportunity to become successful. Now when you left this world, it is quite fair that part of your success goes to your country. This is what they have implemented in USA. No one has any issue.
Kids get free money anyway. Not like they ever did anything to earn this.
