The planning commision which was active during President Ayub Khan's time planned projects that would be needed ten yrs later. The demon ZA Bhutto raped the country in every way imaginable. Family planning was the first casualty. Nationalization without planning halted development in the industrial sector. After Ayub Khan the only big hydel-power project has been launched by Imran. The only contribution of haramkhor ganjas and Murdaris is increase in their assets abroad. Khaqan Abbassi the stooge purchased expensive LNG from Qatar and launched an airline. Big reserves of gas are present in KPK which need to be exploited quickly. Our biggest problem is a population explosion and forgetting the joys of simple living. Almost all of us is suffering from the malady conspicuous consumption. The only real good business these days are marriage halls.
