Governor Punjab Salman Taseer on Sunday said allegations have been leveled against Chief Justice and Nawaz Sharif also but they didnt resign, adding that no one from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will resign.
Talking to media in Lahore, Taseer maintained that Chief Justice did not resign despite charges against him. Allegations were leveled against leaders of PML-N and other political parties; their cases are pending in the courts. Why decisions are not being announced about them? Governor Punjab said that neither democracy can sustain nor the system if interference in each others work continues. Allegations will keep on coming but the government will continue its work. Taseer questioned whether he should listen to some anchors or talk about people.

Taseer wondered why the justice is only for people who remained imprisoned for years, adding that justice should be for the 160 million people of Pakistan and should not be limited to PPP only.
