آج ہی غالبا ڈیرہ غازی خان میں ایک بس حادثہ ہوا ہے، بس ٹرالر سے ٹکراگئی، تیس لوگ مرگئے، چالیس پچاس زخمی ہوگئے۔۔۔ پاکستان میں پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کا حال یہ ہے کہ بسوں کے اندر مرغیوں کی طرح لوگ ٹھنسے ہوتے ہیں اور بسوں کی چھتیں تک مسافروں سے لدی ہوتی ہیں۔ آپ ہسپتالوں میں چلے جائیں، ہسپتالوں میں تل دھرنے کو جگہ نہیں، سکولوں کو دیکھ لیں، ایک ایک کلاس میں تین تین سو سٹوڈنٹس اور ٹیچر صرف ایک۔۔۔

یہ سب کچھ دیکھنے کے باوجود پاکستان میں لوگ بچے یوں پیدا کرتے ہیں جیسے کسی جنت میں رہ رہے ہوں۔ ان کو سمجھ نہیں آرہی کہ سارا مسئلہ بے دریغ آبادی کا ہے۔ آبادی کم ہو تو لائف کی کوالٹی بہتر ہوتی ہے، اتنی زیادہ آلودگی نہیں ہوتی، زرعی زمینوں پر بلڈوزر پھیر پھیر کر دھڑا دھڑ ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیز نہیں بنانی پڑتیں، ہسپتالوں میں جگہ کم نہیں پڑتی، بسوں میں مرغیوں کی بجائے انسانوں کی طرح سفر کریں گے لوگ۔ مگر پاکستان میں لوگ اسی زندگی کو پسند کرتے ہیں، کیڑوں مکوڑوں کی طرح پیدا ہوتے ہیں اور کیڑوں مکوڑوں جیسی زندگی گزارتے ہیں اور پھر کیڑوں کی طرح ہی مرکھپ جاتے ہیں۔ کسی پاکستانی کو اس پر کوئی اعتراض نہیں۔ تو جب پاکستانی عوام خوش ہے تو پھر ایسی ہی بسیں ان کے لئے ٹھیک ہیں اور ایسی ہی زندگی ان کو گزارنے دیں۔۔۔ ​

It is IK fault that in he last 70 years he did not work to train the transport system, transporters and drivers, SHAME ON YOU IMRAN KAHN, (Khota Eaters are you happy now)

Some of the reasons for high number of accidents in Pakistan.I have not lived in Pakistan or driven Pakistan but this is my impression after talking to relatives and info obtained from news papers,tv channel etc
1.Most drivers are driving without passing a driving test
2.The driving test is the easiest in the world.It should be made similar to British driving test
3.Rules are flouted eg red lights are jumped,vehicles are driven on wrong side of the roars,there is no consideration for other road users,everyone is in a rush
4.There are no traffic rules like British Highway Code
5.Vehicles which are not road worthy are still being driven.Many vehicles have faulty breaks,lights etc
6.Buses and vans are overloaded.
7. Drivers go crazy and over speed and over take even when it is dangerous
The only solution is to create a ministry for transport.Make driving test very rigorous and similar to UK/EU test.Make it a requirement to have every vehicle checked and issued a certificate of road worthiness( similar to UK MOT certificate).

Add one more thing in your list ( I actually live in Pakistan). Condition of roads ( baring Motorways) in Pakistan is Pathetic. Just travel on MM road ( Mianwali-Multan road ) and you will know it. Same goes for railway tracks. Whether it is the condition of roads or issuance of driving licenses without driving tests, the burden lies on the government ( This includes all previous governments and the present government).

Thera was a road worthiness test in the past for all transport vehicles but only Allah knows how the Ganja robbers and Murdari gangs have destroyed this country
