Salam to all forum members and Mods,
I have been seeing that for the last two weeks or so, there have been tons and tons of threads being opened on political history of Arabian countries, involving Waqai-e-Karbala and asscoaited happenings. In these threads, strange kind of language is being used, from two different schools of thoughts. But the kind of language being used is deplorable and condemnable from both sides.
I requested many a times before too that let us leave this all and try to concentrate on our present, muslims have been always so, right from the death of Prophet Muhammad pbuh, there has been a sour history, in which there is only blood shed and barbarianism. What we can do is to learn from this bad history and understand that we will never earn anything from these beliefs. It is not about islam at all to believe in such historic events and stories. Islam is more about today, it is more about love and peace and not about division and abusing each other.... On top of it, such discussions will never change the history and will also never make others accept the oppositions' version. Then what is the objective of such useless threads which only create rift and bad taste for all readers.
There might be some from both sides thinking that they are doing some holy job by wirting some pieces, I know one thing that this will never increase or decrease any honours that those people had. Those personalities were also humans and they made mistakes, all of them, what we can do is to not keep following the legacy of those mistakes and try to understand the real spirit of our religion. We are all humans first, so whatever we think and whatever our beliefs are, these should be only with us, where our nose ends , there ends our belief also. No one should have a right to force his or her opinion on others.
To add to this all, I would also wish and request govt to strictly ban the use of loud speakers for everybody. Not just the loud speakers, but also Jalsas, jaloos etc, either is from Sunnis for Milads etc or it is from Shias or from any other sects. There should be a defined worship place for all religions and sects, with closed bounderies and only inhouse speakers. This is really unbearable for normal people who are disturbed by loud music, bayans and jusrgen/mantras etc.
This is a request to mods as well that they should apply a more stricter policy about thread opening and not allow such threads.
