MQM bashing is the easiest way to get popularity for new and third class anchors. Look at this Nadia Mirza, who was unknown untill now, but only one minute talk against MQM, made her popular.

The same technique was used by Jasmeen Manzoor.

Otherwise, the daily Ummat is published in Karachi, and they are writing against MQM for years, nothing went wrong against them as I know.
