Under Petraeus there is no doubt the army will have unprecedented influence on CIA, just because he has retired from army doesn't mean his mentality has changed so yes that does qualify CIA of being under the army not in the sense that it has officially become part of the army but more in the sense that it will pursue the policies of the army. Shehzad Chaudhrys analysis was excellent.
We need to keep the NATO supply line closed, rise the cost for these US b*stards for their wars, make them borrow more from China, and bankrupt these thugs. This also serves our interests. The analyst is a douche bag, and is somewhat misleading. US wishes to keep its troops' presence[how small it is] in Afghanistan[and in the South Asian region] as much as possible. And they definitely threaten Pakistan. US only understands pressure, and this should've happened earlier, as this would've saved many Pakistani lives.

It does not matter who he reports to and like I said his retirement doesn't mean his mentality has changed...the simple fact is that Petraeus was a 4 star General and he is now the head of CIA and you don't need to be a genius to figure out this has effectively put CIA "under" the Army.
