Stop saying salary is not important in a recruitment interview!

Salary is an important element in applying for a job. Maybe it is not a top factor to choose a job but does not mean it is petty. Salary is not merely an amount of money you received each month, it also prove your contribution, dedication recognized by recruiters.

The fact also shows that very few cases go to work regardless of wages. Even for many people, salary is a prerequisite when choosing a job.

According to the latest survey made by Vietnam recruitment agency, salary is a prerequisite for employees at all levels from new graduated students to senior managers want to apply.

People can accept low wages in the beginning. That's because they want to have an opportunity to learn, gain experience but not overlooked the value of salaries. Others want to prove their capabilities over time to be recognized and to be paid with a more deserved salary by the employers.

Do not deceive yourself and recruiters.

In the interview, when asked: "What is your desired salary?", many people often give an answer like: "Salary is not important to me, I go to work because of passion, experience ... ".
You might think with this answer, you will be highly appreciated by recruiters, but the reality is not.
Many employers share that they feel the answer so very clich and forms. According to them, this candidate is lying or he does not know about his ability. Even worse, employers could think if you do not appreciate the salary, you will not appreciate the work.

Is it really salary is not important to you?

Dont be confused and embarrassed when employers ask about salary, you should prepare before the interview.
You can search for information by asking relatives and friends working in the same field or contact professional organization and refer to the results of their annual surveys.
It is important that you need to assess the capacity and the value you will bring to the company. And remember to say that you are willing to negotiate with employers to make the most appropriate salary.

I think important thing is to work for good brand and to tell them that salary should be dependent on your exposure and performance.

As per my opinion. The salary should be given having seen capability of employers. In the beginning companies should recruit for a fresh people. Where they do internship and then they should find new job to gain High Paid Salery . Or If they satisfy this Job where they entered as a intern then they can continue.
