What need to be considered is:

(a) Difference between acquittal and discharge without being tried

(b) Power of discharge (unbridled) can be given to the Executive / government

(c) In an independent judiciary, the prosecutor works as an officer of the court and not a representative of the Government

It appears the Sindh Government is attempting to bridle the independence of judiciary which will definitely open the doors for the political government to interfere into the administration of justice for political or otherwise reasons.

Administration of justice must be an exclusive domain of the judiciary. The executive or the legislative must not enter into this exclusive domain of the judiciary.

The proposed legislation blatantly intrudes into the exclusive domain of the judiciary by using the word "government".

This will definitely open the doors of political interference or influence into the administration of justice in the country which is quite an alarming bad omen if seen in the PPP's historic indulgence into massive corruption in the country with emphasis on Sindh Province and misgovernance, an understandable examples of which is that most of the PPP leading have run away from the country and are still administering the Sindh Province while in a self-styled exile in different parts of the world.

May God save Pakistan from this bunch of looters. vandals, and financial terrorists
