Pakistan Cricket: The lost spirit

Guys! with all the bad umpiring chant for the last one day I believe we have lost our luster. Neutral umpiring is some thing proposed, defended and implemented by Pakistan (Imran Khan). Pakistan has always been a victim of this but we never lost games becuase of that. When umpiring got toug Pakistanies got tougher. I remember in a one day match against India in India, Indian umpires started giving everything that would hit the pad as LBW out. But Miandad, Saleem Malik and later Saleem yousuf, Abdul Qadir and Tauseef Ahmed made sure that nothing hits their pads and still snatched the game. Saleem Malik once played with a fractured hand (Fully plastered) and managed to make a 65 runs partner ship with Waseem Akram to get enough lead for Pakistan to defeat West Indies at Karachi. Once Saleem Malik and Miandad bated through the evening when it was too dark that it was quite difficult to watch the game live on TV. Even after several request by organizers and umpires they refused to leave the ground. We need that spirit back. In the past only thing that took us through thick and thins was spirit. We started loosing it once we started getting more and more talent in our team. Pakistan's openers were never good. Mostly it was Miandad or sometimes Saleem Malik would take the charge to stay on the crease and make the lower order bat with them to snatch victories multiple times. Now we have many many good batsmen as well unmatched pacers but we are struggling to claim victories. To me the only reason is we have lost the spirit and that is the real essence of being a Pakistani.

We are losing the moral ground in every sphere of life, bhai sahab!! Our elected politicians are corrupts and crooks!! From thelawala to President, people are corrupt!! Where would you look for Lost Spirit!!

Alone in a place, that exists only in those open and able to see its true face. A spirit of purity to grasp in even the lowliest times to save and bring us serenity. The sin of us all is the loss that we seem to befall when we had asked for it all. In the end, when he is to send we see it so clear that all along,it was only me in the mirror.
