Khalid Bin Waleed Road in Karachi successfully cleared from all the car dealer mafia encroachments. But situation is no different in other major cities also. These car dealers are occupying streets and parking lots. They are also a burden on commercial properties. Their existence fuels the demand and property prices and rents are skyrocketing in the cities.
So I thought to do some research and share a solution here on this forum. Hopefully, someone from PTI's government or some big fish in private sector will look in to this and try to build such Auto-Malls outside major cities away from the residential areas. Area around New Islamabad Airport is perfectly suitable as such mall will not pose any risk to the air traffic.
Also such establishment will generate enough revenue though rents, parking fees, auction fees. Not only it will return original investment and maintenance costs, it will provide a stable stream of revenue to government for decades to come.
