Islamabad: Cabinet subcommittee—bestowed with the mandate of announcing final verdict on Nawaz’s travel-ban issue—has conditioned Nawaz Sharif’s departure with submission of surety bonds worth Rs7 billion.
Addressing a presser here in Islamabad, the law minister, Farogh Naseem, added that Nawaz Sharif has been allowed to get himself treated in London for a period of 4 weeks.
Faroogh added that federal cabinet has been apprised about Nawaz’s deteriorating health indicators.
“Either Nawaz Sharif or Shehbaz Sharif has to submit Rs7 billion surety bond’, Naseem was quoted as saying in the presser while adding, “The decision has been taken against the backdrop of Nawaz Sharif’s serious health condition.”
“Removing name for one-time does not tantamount to permanently removing name from the ECL”, maintained Naseem.
