Though this classic movie is widely speculated to be an adaptation from the Hollywood’s 1941 flick “Meet John Doe” But I do believe that the awesome plot of this movie do has its relevancy with today’s Pakistan as well. Be it misgovernance, unemployment, hyper corruption and apathy from the ruling elite class, misuse of powers from the capitalists & industrialists and trampling the rights of common masses and basic wage workers the mirror image of the theme of this movie will depict the sorry state of Pakistani affairs to some extent.

I hope that the main protagonist (Amitabh) of this movie might one day appear at the scene of this dormant nation and might try his level best to revive and unite them to change their flailing fortunes and to make this state so powerful and successful as it was envisaged by its founding fathers.
