Some 15 to 20 years back wildlife department left few cheetahs and lions in the Thandiyani region to promote wildlife, since then there had been many such incidents happened in abbotabad villages.

Why would anyone introduce lions or Cheetahs in an area where people live? This isn't Africa where there are massive plains with Gazzelle and Wildebeast for them to pray on. It's obvious they will hunt people and livestock for food.

There's no Lion in Abbottabad Thandiani or Gilliat area. This must be someone Pet at loose. I'm from the area. Even in forest we don't have these animals.

Abottabad sheher mein to zahir hai nahi hen....lekin Abottabad tehsil k hilly areas....including the galiyaat which falls under Abottabad tehsil ....wahan milte hen....aur grown up aadmi ko woh nahi maar saktey lekin zakhmi kar dete hen......very rarely they kill weak females and children
