Tourism is the main source of income for many countries and Pakistan is no exception. Only the issue of terrorism has damaged this industry badly. So hopefully if things revive like this, it will be a boost to the economy as well as the negative aspects about Pakistan will also be waived off by such moves.

Regarding tourism, it is true that overseas people don't fly to Pakistan like they did in the 90s, but Pakistan has a population of almost 180 million. Domestic tourism should be promoted to the maximum. I was in the Northern Areas 2 months back and noticed so many visitors from Karachi and Lahore.
If proper hotels are made and professional companies come in the picture, we can have the rich elite sitting in major cities comes to Northern Areas instead of going to Europe or Far East to enjoy similar mountains and greenery
The quality of the hotels is a major drawback as it was a struggle to find a decent hotel in Naran Valley

I am more realistic PTI member than other PTI members who want to see "change" in very short time. My point of view on PTI recent governance of KPK province is they are doing really well in given circumstances. You can assess their efforts by the 360 degree work started on all the spheres of governance. Pervaiz Khatak is really leading from the front as CM KPK. My prayers are with the PTI KPK team.

Those are great changes, but
even bigger change is an effort towards building of
GOOD, TRANSPARENT, INDEPENDENT institutions....

Pakistan,s real issue is terrorism at the moment..Terrorism is mother of all evils, KPK is most effected region in this regard. Restoring peace MUST be priority No 1 if prosperity has to bring. OTHERWISE all steps taken will go in vain...Anyway GOOG luck..I wish and pray for PTI success :biggthumpup:
