ISLAMABAD: Since assuming the reign of the highest office of the country 10 months ago, Pakistan President Asif Zardari will make his fifth visit of the United Kingdom (UK) in the last week of this month.
He will reach London after undertaking his fourth trip to China. The president will be visiting Dubai for the eleventh time on his return journey from the UK.
There is no restriction on the head of the state for making such visits the outcome of which is never discussed at any forum like the Parliament.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani will be visiting Turkey?s coastal city Istanbul in the last week of this month where he will be chairing an important meeting of the Friends of Democratic Pakistan (FODC) that will deliberate on Pakistan?s financial needs and take decision to help Pakistan for rescuing it from the current financial crunch.
The president could not visit the Chinese capital Beijing during his last three visits of that country and it turned up to be a strange phenomenon that the country considered to be Pakistan?s most trusted friend is visited by its president and he does not visit the capital of that country and fails to meets its president or prime minister.
