Jaswant Singhs expulsion was a wrong decision: Advani
In a fresh revelation in the Jaswant Singh expulsion saga, it has now emerged that Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha L K Advani had argued against any move to expel him from the BJP for writing a book on Quaid-e-Azam and Indian partition. Confessing his mistake after a month, Advani said he was still sorry about Singhs expulsion. According to an India TV Advai was opposed to Singhs expulsion while on the other hand Party Chairman Rajnath isnt speaking to media on the issue. Singh was expelled form the party on August 19. BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Party Chairman Rajnath took the decision while Advani remained silent on it.
