There is no denying that SBP is owned by the Free Masons. However, only the top officials may be members of the FM. FM usually targets politicians and definitely install their own people at the State or Central banks. A Pakistani born politician in Toronto has just become a member of the Free Masons. he was contacted and given warm welcome and promises of financial rewards. Chairman of the US FedRes is the prefect example. Look at the three crowns of the FM on top of the SBP building.

I recall Asad saying when he joined PTI that he has resigned from all positions and boards he was part of. This must be old...

See the last updated date is 1 October 2011. So for the last 11 months, the list has not been updated

Folks.. take a chill pill. I am not passing judgement on anything here. I just posted a question. Since I am not in Pakistan, information that Pakistanis think as general knowledge, may not be easily available to outsiders.

Again, I have no opinion on AU's seat on the board.

Jus found this...
http://www.pakistantoday.com.pk/2013/02/27/news/profit/lack-of-quorum-on-central-board-puts-governance-in-question-at-sbp/

it says. "...According to official sources, of the above directors only Umer had resigned and that too last year in May when he joined Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf. Umer had to resign because no political leader can officiate on SBPs central board, said a central banker."

My apologies. :)
