If any happened to Khan, fate of army, PDM and country for decades

Makes sense why would ganju go out of his way, over look a dozen other candidates who were next in line to be COAS and selected someone who had already been retired a few days before and made him the COAS.

Unless some very serious promises were made and unbreakable guarantees given that if made COAS he would give them what they want.

Whisky Muneera was already a criminal ( tiles factory extortion case ) and a crazy killer ( sargodha motorway incident ) and had a huge grudge against Khan for removing him as DGISI after the sargodah murders in less than 8 months.

So the perfect candidate for the ganjs to enact their revenge against Khan.
