SBP should be autonomous and free from Daku politicians influence. In past we saw how Nawaz Daku and Dollar Dar destroyed our economy by directing SBP to print more notes and spend 22 billions to artificially maintain the dollar. The SBP's independence is not a bad thing if the governor of the bank is loyal to Pakistani interests and doesn't take orders from IMF. If this turns out to be an actual scenario then there is no harm in making SBP independent.

InshaAllah Reza bakir will be removed soon. irespective of how good he is. He was sent by IMF to head state bank of Pakistan. IMF has no right to decide who will be state bank governor. No matter how good or bad he/she is
