I liked laila zubairi's point of view. You should make your kids understand the difference between right and wrong.
and if you don't like what they choose its fine to tell them but don't impose your liking on them.
and if their decision turns out to be wrong then they know they only have to blame themselves.

and Orye maqbool jan saheb, parents should be there for their kids even if they want to marry by their choice, you recognise that women are vulnerable physically then why abandon them for marrying somebody, consequently they will not be abused.

یہاں پر بات ہوئی اپنی پسند کی شادی کی تو ہمارے معاشرے میں جس طرح ٹی وی فلم انٹرںیٹ اور موبائل فون کا رواج عام ہوا اور مزید سونے پر سہاگہ یہ کے دنیا میں سب سے ذیادہ منفی استعمال اسلامی ممالک اور خاص طور پر پاکستان میں ہوتا ہے ایسی صورت میں صرف جذبات ہوتے ہیں یہ نوجوان اندھے ہو جاتے ہیں جذبات کو ابھارنے والے ڈرامے فلمیں اور دیگر مواد زہنوں کو مفلوج کر دیتا ہے ۔۔۔۔ ہمارے معاشرے میں اتنی بدصورتیوں کے ہوتے ہوئے ایک خوبصورت چیز ہمارا خاندانی نظام ہے جو ہر طرح سے تحفظ فراہم کرتا ہے ماں باپ زندگی میں ایک بار ہی ملتے ہیں مگر بیویاں کئی مل جاتی ہیں ایسا نہیں ہوتا کہ جس کو آپ نے پسند کیا وہ دنیا کا آخری لڑکا یا لڑکی ہے ایسے کونسے ماں باپ ہیں جو اولاد کا سکون نہیں چاہتے اگر عشق معشوق کی سوچ سے باہر نکل کر ذرا پریکٹکل سوچیں تو ہمیں سب سمجھ آجائے گی اور ہمیں یہ نہیں بھولنا چاہئے کہ ہم مسلمان ہیں اور جذبات ابھارنے والے فلم ڈرامے گانے اور دیگر مواد ہمارے معاشرے کو دیمک کی طرح چاٹ رہا ہے ایسی صورت میں ہمارے بہک جانے کے امکانات بہت قوی ہوتے ہیں ،،،،، اللہ ہم سب پر رحم کرے اور ہمیں دین کے مطابق زندگی گزارنے کی توفیق دے​

This is how these NGO funded liberals destroy muslim family system arround the world. There was no one with a conservative views in the female side. All women were representing a liberal part of society.I think Kamran Shaid is working on some agenda such topics are very sensitive to muslim society. Kamran shahid is an idiot and can not comprehend the importance of family values in respect to a muslim family structure. The way Kamran Shaid conducted the show he seemed in favour of muslim girls marrying against their parrents will at all times. His intruption and mocking to ulma was very disrespectful. Having said all that I think parents are not supposed to disaprove the choice of children in their marriage unless it brings harm to them or is against the values of Islam. Islam gives parents that extra authority to play a role of Wali(guardian, protector) The problem with theese so called self proclaimed moderates and moderators is they are debating an issue of muslim family issue in the western perspective. It is doomed to have nagative than any positive impact.
