فحش فلموں کے انسانی جسم اور ذہن پر منفی اثرات کا تذکرہ ہم اکثر سنتے ہیں لیکن کسی کو بھی یہ اندازہ نہ تھا کہ یہ ناسور ایک نئی ذہنی بیماری کو جنم دے سکتا ہے۔یہ ایک تلخ حقیقت ہے کہ حال ہی میں سائنسدانوں اور نفسیات دانوں نے ذہنی بیماریوں کی فہرست میں ایک نئے نام کا اضافہ کیا ہے جس کی وجہ فحش فلموں اور دیگر ایسے ہی مواد کو قرار دیا گیا ہے۔
اس بیماری کا نام " پورن ٹرامیٹک سٹریس ڈس آرڈر " رکھا گیا ہے اور یہ خصوصی طور پر ان لوگوں میں پائی جاتی ہے جو نوعمری سے ہی فحش مواد دیکھنا شروع کر دیتے ہیں۔دماغ کے اس عارضے کا انکشاف اس وقت ہوا جب چین کے ایک ہسپتال میں ایک 16 سالہ لڑکے کو لایا گیا جو خود کشی کرنے پر تلا ہوا تھا۔نفسیات دانوں نے اس کے تفصیلی تجزیے کے بعد معلوم کیا کہ یہ بچپن میں اپنے ماں باپ کے ساتھ ایک کمرے کے فلیٹ میں رہتا تھا اور اس کا باپ اکثر رات کے وقت کمرے میں فحش فلمیں دیکھتا تھا۔
لڑکے نے انکشاف کیا کہ جب ایک دفعہ اس نے اپنے باپ کو اس کام سے منع کرنے کی کوشش کی تو اس کی شدید پٹائی کی گئی۔اس نے ڈاکٹروں کو بتایا کہ ساری عمر اس کے ذہن سے فحش مناظر نہیں نکل سکے اور اس کی پڑھائی شدید متاثر ہونے کے بعد اسے سکول سے بھی نکال دیا گیا۔
شرمناک مناظر بار بار اسے احساس گناہ میں مبتلا کر تے رہے اور بالآخر اس نے خودکشی کا ارادہ کر لیا۔ڈاکٹروں کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ دماغی مرض کسی بھی عمر کے لوگوں کو لاحق ہو سکتا ہے لیکن بچے خاص طور پر اس سے بری طرح متاثر ہوتے ہیں۔

Chinese doctors claim to have diagnosed a new mental illness - porn traumatic stress disorder - after examining the case of a teenager who says his life was ruined by being exposed to porn from the age of five.
Lei Chung, 16, used to live with his mother and father in a tiny one bedroomed flat in the city of Dongguan in southern China's Guangdong Province and claims at the age of five he would lie awake at night and stare at his father using the computer on the table next to his bed to watch porn movies.
He told medics: "I tried not to look but there were always these noises and when I did look I couldn't get the images out of my head."
He had started out well at school but said because he could not get the images out of his head and his school work had suffered, leading to him dropping out. He was also unable to get a job because the porn images had constantly been floating around in his mind. He said when he tried to challenge his father to not watch the stuff he had been beaten which made the situation even worse.
When he was old enough he had left home and moved to a new area in Dongguan where he continued to try to get work, but again claimed the images of the porn from his childhood would constantly torment him.
In the end he tried to commit suicide, but was persuaded out of it by a friend who urged him to seek medical advice.
And doctors have now confirmed that the pornographic movies that have haunted the boy through his childhood were to blame for his suffering, and instead of post-traumatic stress disorder, have branded it porn traumatic stress disorder.
Therapist Doctor Yi Tu who has been treating Lei said: "It is a clear case proving that the exposure of young children to pornographic material before they really have the capacity to understand it is seriously damaging to their mental health. Parents should take steps to make sure children are not exposed to this sort of imagery and especially not at such a young age."
