When personal interests outweigh national, things tend to take the wrong turn. Looking at the map, if someone decide to question intentions, one should not be blamed. Bigger brother need to support and nurture family as a whole and be factor which strengthens bonds, here it leaves serious doubts.. Big brother not be blamed as entity but somehow the mental construct of part in control.

Really if Allah, one wish to see, do so in Pakistan..It defies the very basic requirements of survival, yet manages to survive... In itself is a miracle. Like The Well of Zamzam which people in control are drawing its resources continuously, yet it not giving up.

Agar Nawaz Hukumat 5- 10 saal aur iqtedar me rahee to toh Pakhtoonistan, Sindho desh, jinnah Pur aur Free Baluchistan sub Haqeeqat ban jaaega.

There is a very easy solution.

If Federal government is reluctant to build route through KP and Balochistan, these provinces should reserve money for the Quetta-D I Khan-Peshawar part toll highway and build it themselves. A good quality four lane tollway from Queta to Peshawar via D.I. Khan would provide enough money to these two provinces that they will not only be able to maintain the infrastructure, but also provide security to the traffic on this route.

Even if they put a higher toll tax, people will prefer saving fuel over saving insignificant toll.

If Nawaz Sharif is ruling he same way, then of course it will become another Kalabagh dam..

Their are 2 reasons why this issue has surfaced.

1) Either the other are right that Nawaz Government is ignoring the regions originally part of CPEC.
2) Or Nawaz Sharif Govt is too incompetent to build a census over it, if he isn't hiding any details.

its so simple not to make it controversial, sit with all CM`S show them the real agreement n move on, by hiding it what you NS think tank expects.... what would be the outcome. why to hide if you are not cheating

If cost needs to be saved then it behooves that parts of the current infrastructure be utilized for a "corridor". And there is more infrastructure in the eastern side of Pakistan than the western. If Cost is no objective then the western route is the way to go. There is another option and that is to build it on the western side and let that area develop. While continuing building the motorways in the east. This way everyone is happy.

With all that said, in my opinion this Corridor is just hype. Even if it is built it's benefits are just purely hype. China's impact is highly overstated. But since we Pakistanis love shortcuts to success we are banking on this heavily. First China needs to show that it is making good on economical benefits to pakistan using existing infrastructure and THEN we can think about upgrading this route. That's the right way to go, not these shortcuts to fast success.

Such topics are always used by politicians to argue and win policies and kickbacks.

No--- it will not become another Kalabagh for two reasons

1- This project was negotiated by Pak Army, when Obama was making a visit to Delhi, Raheel Shareef was at Beijing, discussing this project and also China showed interest just because Army assured them.

2- Chinese are Chinese..... what do you think, they are going to get their money wasted like anything... no way... they are far too smart than these goons.
