The Theory of Evolution has strong evidence going for it. The "Theory of Quran" requires Belief first to even take it seriously. Ek Science ki kitaab hai. Ek Yakeen ki. Science Yakeen pe nahi chalti. This is why it is called a "Theory of Evolution". aap bhi yehi keh dain, "Theory of Adam" lekin phir aapko evidence dena pare ga, aur wahan Islam kamzor hai science ki bunyadi taur pe.

Oh OK. Thank you. Now I really know what an analogy is : A guy debating with Pythagoras (who did not know nothing about flatness/spherical of earth), 1200 years after his death about the shape of the Earth and inability the of Pythagoras to convince him. I learnt something new today.

The analogy was that lets suppose Pythagoras was debating with a guy in his own era..i.e. in the 5th century BC whereby Pythagoras was proposing that the Earth is round while the other person was laughing at him for saying something so preposterous.

زیادہ سائنس پڑھنے سے دماغ خراب ہو جاتا ہے اور مذہب پر آنچ آنے لگتی ہے۔

مسلمانوں کا تو علم نہیں، لیکن عیسائی پادری اور ایک سائنس دان کا مناظرہ دیکھنے کا موقع ملا تھا۔

مکمل تفصیلات تو یاد نہیں، مگر اتنا ضرور یاد ہے کہ سائنس دان کہہ رہا تھا کہ بائیبل کے حساب سے جناب آدم علیہ السلام زیادہ سے زیادہ 6 ہزار سال قبل تشریف لائے، جبکہ سائنس دان انسانوں کے ڈھانچے دریافت کر چکے ہیں جو کہ اس سے کئی ہزار سال پرانے ہیں (تقریبا 2 لاکھ سال پرانے انسانی ڈھانچے)۔۔۔ بلکہ اس سے بھی لاکھوں سال پرانے ڈھانچے موجود ہیں جو کہ "نئاندرتال" ۔ (لنک) کے ڈھانچے ہیں جو کہ بالکل انسانوں جیسے ہی تھے۔

اسلام کے مطابق صحیح طور پر تو مجھے علم نہیں، مگر جو روایات موجود ہیں، اور میں نے ایک دفعہ جو تحقیق کرنے کی کوشش کی تھی، تو وہ بائبل سے زیادہ مختلف نہیں تھی۔ چنانچہ میں تحقیق کو بیچ میں چھوڑ کر چل پڑی کہ مذہب و سائنس کا زبردست ٹکراؤ شروع ہو گیا تھا اور مجھے ڈر ہے کہ اس بحث میں مذہب سائنس کو نہیں ہرا سکتا۔

بائبل کے مطابق آدم علیہ السلام 6 ہزار سال قبل تشریف لائے۔

اسلامی روایات جو مجھے تھوڑی بہت تحقیق کے بعد مل پائیں تھیں انکے مطابق جناب نوح علیہ السلام کا طوفان 5 ہزار سال قبل آیا تھا، جبکہ آدم علیہ السلام اس طوفان سے تقریبا 1 ہزار سال پہلے آئے تھے۔ یعنی یہ بھی کُل ملا کر 6 ہزار سال ہی بنتا ہے بائبل کی طرح۔

Sahih Ibn Hibban:

Ab Ummah relates that once, a man asked Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):

“Had Adam been a Prophet?” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) answered: “Yes.” The man asked: “How much time passed between him and Noah?” Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) replied: “Ten Qarn” (Sahh Ibn Hibbn, Hadith 6190).

Note: 1 Qarn is equal to 100 years.
