[h=1]ars with auto-pilot allowed in California, Google Cars driving in the next decade[/h]
In California at Google headquarters a new law has been passed to support Google Carsplying in the streets of California. The law will be called Senate Bill 1298 authored by state Senator Alex Padilla.
The bill will determine conditions for self-driving cars requiring the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles to develop specific rules and regulation for auto-pilot cars by the year 2015.
California is the third state to allow the testing of Google Cars. Having a new state to drive, Google Cars will learn new traffic conditions and will be able to record longer mileage of zero-accident.
Google co-founder Sergey Brin is present at the signing of the said bill. Brin said in a statement that self-driving cars was fictional but cars without drivers will soon be the reality. In the next decade parking lots would be extinct – cars will just drop owners on workplaces and programmed to return home.
At present, cars have auto-pilot modes but with limited capabilities like self-parking and auto-stop if bumping with other cars is possible. Google Cars project is aiming to put the standards on a higher level where manual driving is a burden and a car with full auto-pilot mode is the norm.

2020 is quite far; these cars will be available in 2 to 3 years’ time. Technology is evolving very fast today many organizations in Europe, US and Australia are working to deliver innovative solution. Automation of products and services is the high priority of service and product providers. Many big brands are in this race now in automotive industry Google was the first company introducing auto driving they bought the technology from a European company and integrated it with their Mapping services. Lexus has recently showed its auto pilot vehicle in a motor show. Apart from that this is just bit of the technology innovations which we come across through news. In our country apart from MBA, IT, Doctors and to some extent Electronic Engineers are regarded and respected. Our students focus only on these professions for better career, this is also because of the education system we have in our country and the culture. If someone wants to choose a profession apart from above mentioned they don’t have career unless they move out of country. Government does not support research organization at all no funding to offer to university to research in technologies. Today in USA NASA is supporting amateur astronomers; this initiative helped them reduce their job in searching for other planets and stars. Furthermore if we only look at the statistics coming from Kepler it’s amazing. We need IK to come in power and implement his policies ASAP so we can focus on developing our country. InshAllah lets be optimistic, vote IK ka.
