Rawalpindi Incident Case: CJ raises Question over police eligibility

Islamabad: Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhary on Friday said that police were the responcible to maintain law and order situation during Ashura procession and if the were eligible, the incident would not have happened.
A three member bench headed by chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad chaudhry is hearing the case regarding lawyers Torture case.
The CJ made comments said CPO was not at the city on November 15 during Ashura procession.
RPO was behaving like james bond surveying the affected area on helicopter while other escaped in ambulance, he added.
He said that if police were eligible the incident would not have happened. One officer was behaving like james bond while other escaped in ambulance Made comments during hearing lawyers torture case where CPO was on 10[SUP]th[/SUP] Muharram? Rawalpindi incident was being concealed beneath carpet.
