With the arrest of Meg Wanzhou of Huawei Western elites have come out in the open. The fight is for technological dominance which mean becoming the next super power. 5G means controlling the infrastructure that will run Drones, Artificial Intelligence, Finance, Field Sensors

Pakistan is in this with Telenor and Jazz which is actually the same company owned by Veon group. First Norwegian and the Second Dutch. Yes the same Dutch which abused Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) in the name of freedom of speech. How is our national security when they record what goes into our ear and what we utter.

I recommend Pakistan introduce common telecom infrastructure policy where Govt. of Pakistan owns and operates equipment and any company can license it to operate. This was no one can abuse us and we can control what technology is used and our people are not spied upon.

British Telecom, Australia, New Zealand and EU have said NO to any 5G equipment from Huawei. Pakistan govt. should be able to get a good deal no 5G from Huawei, let China invest into Pakistan via CPEC for 5G as China has already spent $24 billion in research and development of 5G to this point. No one outside China is buying their equipment let use common sense now and secure our future for Pakistanis.

Huawei has shown at expo's it is far ahead of anyone else at 5G tech.

All most all Europe countries became puppet of USA..They used China growing tech technology and Putin mighty Army ability as a fear..threats to Western countries.. And they cowardly abiding by this created fears..

thinking in this case Putin stands with America as Veon's previous name was Vimplecom which was a Russian subsidary. China is alone in this fight, no-one else in the world has developed 5G tech as good as the Chinese thus far but the West want's to use it's monopoly. This is the true face of capitalism politics.

Agreed....but I mentioned Putin not in regard of 5G.... USA used Putin Army as threats .. fears to these coward Western countries... Putin is very cleaver person.. In this way boths sides weapons factories running double shift...For spying.... everyone knew...from Google to Facebook.. Apple smart fones.. Computers.GPS..Ours every second is monitoring..... Who dare to speak??

We can be technologically abused for the next 100 years, where infrastructure for 5G exists in Pakistan but software and the real technical jobs which creates value for society are outside Pakistan e.g Easypaisa all the core tech/software writing is done outside Pakistan we are just customers for Telenor. Help me spread the word to fellow Pakistani's.
