chalo kuch to govt employee to relief hua..

Yes right, but in my opinion the low grade employees should get more. increase of 1000 or 2000 is just not enough.

BTW I heard that they are giving new scales and will merge all ad-hoc allowances till 2009, but the wont get 50% increase of 2010. Good decision specially for those who are getting retirement.

truly said...it should be inversely proportional ............

Increase should be like 3000 -20000 rs.........Gareeb loag ko jyada jaroorat hai....
1.Main problem is that Saving to GDP ratio is 15% --->need to scale it up to 25-30%
2.Tax to GDP ratio is 12% ---------->need to scale it up to 18-20%

3.Internal investment is hardly 9% --->need to be 20%

Electricity loss should be dealt properly........it cost 600 billion rs yearly....

Tax net has been increased to 3.5 lak rupee............is nt too high??

but govt must catch all tax evaders ...there are 15 lak business men,landlords who are hiding tax...
