بیکو نیشنلائزیش کے بعد بعد میں پیکو بن گئی تھی۔ یہ فیکٹری اتنی ہی بڑی تھی جتنی پاکستان اسٹیل مل ہے۔ پیکو فیکٹری جب حکومتی تحویل میں آئی تو تباہ ہوکر رہ گئی۔ ملازمین نے اسے خوب لوٹا اور آخر کار بند کرنا پڑی۔۔ پیکو فیکٹری کی اب حالت یہ ہے کہ خالی زمین پڑی ہوئی ہے جو شاید سینکڑوں ایکڑ پر ہے اور زمین بھی ایسی جگہ ہے جہاں اسکی ویلیو فی مرلہ 10 لاکھ سے کم نہیں۔ قریب ہی شریف برادران کی اتفاق فونڈری ہوا کرتی تھی جہاں ملک ریاض کی ایک ہاؤسنگ کالونی بن رہی ہے
