Aurangzeb Alamgir is considered as one of the most controversial characters in our history . A number of questionable things including death of his brothers and brutal execution of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur continue to be a topic of debate and discussion. However many people don't want to look closer at tons of people who assisted and worked under him throughout his career and rule, including certain Hindus and Jains.

True. On top of that Aurangzeb was fighting Qutb Shahis and Adil Shahis in Deccan, plus Pathans reportedly had also started to part ways with Mughals . I personally met with two Indians (Hindus) from Karnataka and both of them were cursing Narendra Modi right infront of me. One of them even said that in Marathas fight with Tipu Sultan (and perhaps Mughals too) there were Brahmin tribes that were divided in their allegiance and got killed in the tussles . Fact of the matter is that in every society (minus Aap SAW aur Anbiya Ikram) everyone has had used their denomination of religion to further their petty political objectives. PERIOD.
