Thanks for sharing this article. I could not imagine a serious army officer with such great attitude and islamic values. I mean every one in Pakistan knows that our army officers (well, most of them) are secular minded.

Ina Lil ALlah e wa ina alihe rajoon....

He was a good soldier ...and he was a good muslim too and those who have met him know he had strong personality and a pure soldiers looks....

And the coup case for which he was imprisioned....i think was justified coz he tried to take over the GHQ and no military command will let that happen any where in the world .....there is a proper procedure of command and control..which has to be followed....

any way .....We will miss those pakistanis who hated indians and wanted to crush india ....( i havent mentioned army all pakistanis)
one of those general was general akhtar abdul rehman .......true warrior and absolutely marvelous soldier....
