Totally incomplete and Pro-PMLN answer.
Reality is that PESO is power distribution company.
Its business is to pay Federal Gov for electricity and to sell electricity to users in KPK.
It purchases electricity from WAPDA at higher prices than what WAPDA pays to KPK province, then it sell to KPK consumers at even higher rates.
Recovery of electricity bills from consumers is the lowest of all provinces.
So if you only have PESCO with KPK Gov then they will have to pay to WAPDA from their own pockets for the electricity since collection is so poor!
There will be no relief to the people of KPK since rate will be from WAPDA and load-shedding will also be from WAPDA but the KPK Gov will become the bad guy in front of the people if it takes PESCO without Generation and Transmission.

we dont want any public sector organization to be successful.
Malik should praise PTI for taking this step.If the govt can not
control PESCO's losses then handover it to PTI and if there is
10% improvement then we should praise PTI for it.

It's actually not. KP is on second place in recovery after Punjab. Not the WORST.
