349 parliamentarians fail to submit details on assets

ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued list of as many as 349 parliamentarians who have been failed to submit their assets details to commission, Geo news said on Tuesday.

Among those included in the list are 105 members National Assembly (NA), 11 Senators, 145 members Punjab assembly, 33 members NWFP and 20 belong to members Balochistan assembly, list said.

The list also includes four federal ministers including Federal Minister for Water and Electricity Raja Pervez Ashraf, Federal Minister for Population Welfare Firdous Aashiq Awan, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Manzoor Watto and federal Minister for Communication Arbab Alamgir.

According to the statement issued from EC, membership of those parliamentarians who have failed to submit details on their assets will be cancelled as early as October 15.
